Executive Biography
Nancy E. Robinson dba H.O.P.E. CONSULTING has many years of experience in community economic development in the Central Interior of British Columbia. Nancy’s career began in Prince George, B.C. where she grew up in an entrepreneurial environment owning and operate her first business at the age of 26.
In 1992 Nancy became actively involved in community economic development with the Canoe Creek Indian Band. Through her position as Band Administrator and Social Economic Development Coordinator, Nancy worked in partnership with many community leaders in the Cariboo Chilcotin.
In 1996 to 1999 Nancy was employed as the General Manager of Community Futures in Kamloops, whose mandate is community economic development.
Nancy is back in the Cariboo at her beloved ranch and is a self-employed consultant and facilitator working with entrepreneurs. She holds a Diploma in Adult Instruction and has a passion for facilitating the growth and success of her clients. Nancy has specialized in market research and marketing for small business start-ups. She also writes articles on entrepreneurs and business resources.
To date Nancy has worked with well over 4000 entrepreneurs and currently facilitates Business Development Workshops for the Cariboo Chilcotin Community Futures and Value in Experienced Worker for Williams Lake Employment Services.
